Today the first sample PCB with mounted SMD parts was delivered by the manufacturer!
The next steps are:
- Thorough visual inspection of the mounted parts
- Mounting of remaining THT parts
- Startup:
- Smoke test - as long as the smoke stays in, everything is fine ;-)
- Flashing of FPGA and CPLD
- Various functional tests
